Check Tire Air Pressure

HOW DO I MAKE MY TIRES LAST LONGER?

Like everything else on your car, your tires will wear out. To make your tires last as long as possible, ROTATE your tires every 5,000 miles, keep PROPER AIR PRESSURE in your tires at all times and check for any damage, nails or punctures every time you drive.

DO I NEED TO REPLACE MY TIRES WITH THE SAME ONES?

As long as the tires you are putting on your car are the same size, same speed rating and same load index, you do not have to replace your tires with the same brand/tire that came with your car. In fact, replacement tires are generally better than what comes on your new car.

Check your tread depth - penny test

HOW DO I KNOW IF I NEED NEW TIRES?

Take the Penny Test. Place a penny upside down in your tire tread. If you can see the top of Lincoln’s head, then your tire tread is worn down to the point where your tires need replacing. Your tires might also need replacing if you see uneven wear or any visible damage.
