DIESEL REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE

DIESEL OIL CHANGE

DIESEL OIL CHANGE

Oil change for a diesel engine is similar – and different than a gas-powered vehicle. Generally, there is almost double the amount of oil needed for a diesel engine than a gas-powered engine. In addition, diesel engines tend to be harder on oil than gasoline engines. They run dirtier which makes the oil get dirtier, faster.

That’s why most diesel engine manufacturers recommend that you change a diesel’s oil more frequently than in a gasoline engine.

DIESEL MAINTENANCE SERVICE

DIESEL MAINTENANCE SERVICE

Generally speaking, over the life of a diesel-powered vehicle, diesel engines will require fewer repairs than their gas engine counterparts. But those repairs tend to be more expensive.

That’s why getting in the habit of REGULAR maintenance and CHECK-UPS for your diesel powered vehicle is key to getting 200,000 or even 300,000 miles.

Whether your diesel powered vehicle needs an oil change or a full-on repair, Fox River Tire & Auto Repair has the products, experience and maintenance services to keep your diesel vehicle running for 100,000, 200,000 or even 300,000 miles.
